Terms and Conditions of Use and Purchase

1. Seller and acceptance

The step-latam.com website and ticket sales are operated by Power Transformer Engineering S.A.S. (PTE), Tax ID No. 901.340.727-2, with registered office and address at Calle 114 # 6A-92, Office B 401 D, Bogotá D.C., Colombia; email pqrs@step-latam.com and telephone +57 314 674 2887. Before payment, the purchaser may read these terms and accepts them through an unchecked checkbox. PTE retains the accepted version, date, time and evidence of acceptance.

2. Event and purpose of the ticket

STEP 2027 is an in-person technical seminar on power transformers scheduled for March 3, 4 and 5, 2027, at Hotel InterContinental Medellín - Movich, Calle 16 # 28-51, Variante Las Palmas, Medellín, Colombia, unless a change is notified under these terms.

The ticket includes in-person admission to STEP 2027 academic sessions and activities, the trade exhibition, general networking areas, the welcome and networking cocktail, and an attendance certificate subject to verified entry. It does not include accommodation, flights, transportation, visas, insurance, parking, personal expenses or services not expressly described.

3. Price, COP, TRM and VAT

The rate may be displayed as a reference in United States dollars. Payment is made in Colombian pesos. Before confirming the purchase, the website will display the exact total in COP, calculated using the official current Market Representative Exchange Rate (TRM) when the order is generated. The COP quotation remains valid for thirty (30) minutes.

The in-person entry ticket to STEP 2027 is treated as excluded from VAT based on article 476, numeral 18, of the Tax Statute and DIAN Concept 010454 (int. 1182) of August 4, 2025, applicable to scientific-academic conferences and congresses.

4. Purchase and confirmation

The purchaser reviews the seller's identification, date, venue, inclusions, discounts, price, TRM, validity period and COP total; they may correct information or abandon the transaction before payment. The order is confirmed only when payment has been approved and PTE sends confirmation.

5. Rights, changes and PQR

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, it may be exercised within five (5) business days after the contract is entered into. The detailed cancellation and refund policy forms part of these terms.

PTE may make reasonable adjustments to schedules, rooms, sequence, methodology or speakers. Material changes will be notified in due course. Requests may be submitted to pqrs@step-latam.com; these terms are governed by Colombian law and do not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
