STEP ANNOUNCES ITS NEW DATES

Our thoughts and solidarity are with the victims, those who have been displaced or otherwise affected, their families, and every community impacted by the earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10.

We also extend our recognition to emergency response organizations and to the technical and operational teams that continue working to restore infrastructure and services and to support the affected communities.

The power sector plays an essential role in this process. Several companies and professionals within the STEP community are directly involved in these efforts or are dealing with the consequences of the emergency.

After listening to our sponsors, attendees, speakers, partners, and companies across the sector, we have made the responsible decision to reschedule the second edition of the Specialized Technical Seminar on Power Transformers.

NEW DATES

March 3, 4 and 5, 2027

The event was originally scheduled for October 28, 29 and 30, 2026.

This rescheduling is more than a change to the calendar. It is a decision grounded in solidarity, respect, and the responsibility we have toward the people and organizations that have placed their trust in STEP.

We want those who are currently focused on emergency response, infrastructure recovery, and ensuring the continuity of power service to be able to participate later under the technical, academic, and commercial conditions that an event of this importance requires.

Our commitment continues:

• All existing registrations will remain valid for the new dates.
• We will support our attendees directly throughout the rescheduling process.
• We will work individually with sponsors, speakers, and partners to coordinate all necessary adjustments.
• The updated agenda and operational information will be shared in due course through our official channels.

We are deeply grateful for the understanding, trust, and support of the entire STEP community.

Today, our priority is to act responsibly and support those who need it most. In March 2027, we will meet again in Medellín to share knowledge, strengthen the sector, and continue contributing to a more reliable and resilient electrical infrastructure for Latin America.
