Personal Data Processing Policy

1. Controller and scope

Power Transformer Engineering S.A.S. (PTE), Tax ID No. 901.340.727-2, domiciled in Bogotá D.C. at Calle 114 # 6A-92, Office B 401 D, is responsible for processing data collected through step-latam.com and STEP operations.

This policy applies to visitors, purchasers, attendees, guests, subscribers, speakers, sponsors, suppliers and other individuals whose data is processed by PTE.

2. Data and purposes

PTE may process identification, contact, professional information, invoicing, purchase, attendance, request, PQR and technical information. It does not request full card numbers, passwords or security codes.

Necessary purposes include managing purchase, payment, invoicing, accreditation, certification, security, operational communications, PQR matters and legal obligations. Optional purposes include news, invitations, offers, analytics and image, solely with separate and revocable authorization.

3. Rights and procedure

Individuals may know, update or rectify their data, request proof of authorization, be informed, obtain access, revoke authorization, request deletion and submit a complaint to the SIC where appropriate.

Requests are submitted to pqrs@step-latam.com. Inquiries: ten (10) business days, extendable by up to five (5). Claims: fifteen (15) business days, extendable by up to eight (8), in accordance with law.

4. Security, retention and changes

PTE applies proportionate administrative, human and technical safeguards. Data are retained for the necessary period and applicable legal time limits; once those end, they are securely deleted, anonymized or blocked. Material changes will be notified through a reasonable means.
